In terms of audience, Tabloid newspapers have a bigger audience and attract a mass audience, which is reinforced by the buzzfeed, bbd.co.uk etc having a higher % of total stories read.

The graph shows the percentage of male/ female audience for national print newspapers.

The Telegraph has a higher percentage of male audiences then women 

The FT has a significantly larger percentage of male audience then female audience 

The Daily Mail has a larger percentage of female audience then male 

Overall newspapers are mainly read more by males instead of females.
3)Can you link it to what you’ve learned about newspapers so far? 

In terms of audience, Males usually uphold the higher percentage of readership as newspapers are about politics and stories favoured for men instead of fashion for women.
